EMK Construction was started in 2001 by Elliot and Shari Kanarek. When it began, Elliot was running the field operations while Shari was handling the admin side of things. Since then, we have grown into a small, family run business. Their oldest son, Daniel, helps run the projects in the field, and also assists homeowners with selections when needed. Their youngest son, Jacob, assists Shari in the office and is also a licensed real estate agent and works alongside Elliot with finding properties. Recently, they hired on a young man, Tyler, to assist Daniel with field operations as well. John, our Project Manager, handles our coastal operations as well as helping in the Johnston County area. We pride ourselves on being a small, family run business. This allows us to really get to know the customers, and in fact, many have become great friends throughout the years! During the process, the customer will have access to any of the staff, and we make ourselves available to everyone!
