Elliot
EMK was founded by Elliot in June 2001. He has a passion for the fine details of each job, and loves watching the projects changing from the bare ground all the way to the final inspection! He also loves the creative process and helping homeowners design their dream home! When he’s not at work, Elliot enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife love traveling and seeing new places. They spend a lot of time at the coast on their boat in the warmer weather. He also enjoys his family time with his sons and his dog, Captain.
Shari
Shari is Elliot’s wife, and has been along for the ride since day one! Shari works on the admin side of things, and also helps with selections and design. She enjoys working with the customers during the selection process, and coming out into the field as the pretty details are being installed! When she’s not working, Shari loves to travel and explore the state of NC and the rest of the country with Elliot . Her sons are her pride and joy and she looks forward to their family time together. She also enjoys reading, watching movies and game nights!
Daniel
Daniel is Elliot and Shari’s oldest son and has been on the job sites with dad since he was very young! He handles a lot of the jobsite details, working closely with the subcontractors and customers. He, like his dad, is very detailed. Almost to a fault! When he’s not working, he loves spending time with his new wife and their dog, Rocky. In addition to Rocky, Daniel has cats, snakes and fish. As an avid animal lover, his future plans include adding to his menagerie!
John
John is a seasoned veteran in the remodeling industry and we are excited that he is now part of our team! He is a very detailed person and loves to help with design and is full of great ideas on the jobsite. He is working with us in Johnston County while we build up our Brunswick County division. Eventually he will be running our beach division full time, which makes him very happy! When he’s not working, he enjoys driving his Jeep to the beach and spending time with friends and family.
jacob
Jacob is Elliot & Shari’s son and joined the family business last year when he graduated high
school. Jacob wears many hats; he helps Shari in the office, handles the company marketing and
is a licensed real estate agent. He helps find potential land for spec houses, as well as assists
homeowners with finding their own land as well. He has a great eye for marketing and we love
the youth he brings to the company! He is excited to learn the many facets of the real estate and
business industry.
