Do you do smaller jobs, like remodels or additions
No. In the past we did some smaller jobs, but as of 2025, we are strictly focused on building new homesDo you have references?
Yes, we do. If you are in the beginning stages of finding a contractor, please make sure you get reference from them and do your homework! We are happy to provide you with some past customers’ contact information. How long does it take you to build a home?
There are many aspects to building a home. From the plans, to permitting, to the actual build. Once the permit is in hand, we can move right along, but sometimes the waiting up front is the hardest part! At the time of building the contract, we will discuss the length of time it will take for us to build your home. A typical amount would be 4-8 months, depending on the size and the details, of course. What if I change my mind about something I picked out before the contract was signed?
No worries! As long as you give us plenty of notice before the specific work has been started, we should be able to accommodate you. We can always do a change order if you thought you wanted something and then changed your mind. It happens to all of us at one time or another! Are you licensed and insured?
YES! We have a NC Contractors License, and carry all necessary insurances to protect you and your project. What does the building process look like?
Great question! Please refer to the BUILDING PROCESS page for more information.I know I want a house, and I have the land. Now what?
Some people come to us with a house plan in hand ready to go. Others need some help choosing the right plan. Either way, we can work with you! If you’re struggling to find the right plan, let us help you. We can either help narrow down a house plan from the thousands online, or we can set you up with a local plan designer who can create one just for you and your needs! How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 2001.Who will I be dealing with?
You will work directly with Elliot at the beginning to get things going, and if any questions or concerns arise during the process. Once the contract is signed, you will be turned over to a project manager, who will oversee the construction of the home. And Shari will be contacting you throughout various stages to discuss, and possibly help, with the selection process. How does the payment work?
Once the contract is signed, you will be responsible for giving a deposit, which will be determined early on. After that, there will be a draw schedule. If you’re working with a bank, they will be determining how much will be given at each draw. If you’re paying with cash, Elliot will make up a draw schedule. No final payment will be paid to us until the CO (certificate of occupancy) is in hand and you are able to move in.What size homes do you build? Is there a limit?
There is no limit. We have built as small as 1000 sf, and as large as 5000 sf. And everything in between!THE BUILDING PROCESS/WHAT TO EXPECT:
Building a new home, especially with a custom home builder, can be overwhelming. That’s why we’re with you every step of the way. To make things as simple as possible. Below is an example of what the process will look like. Although, keep in mind every job is a bit different. 1. You’ll pick a plan and work with Elliot on details you want in a home. Once the plan design is done, it gets engineered. If you need a banker, this is the time to get your funding in place. Contracts are finalized and signed at this time, deposit is given, and we submit for permits. 2. Once the permit is in hand, the build process begins! Shari will be in touch with you within 2 weeks of the start date to schedule your first design meeting. You will be given a list of selections that will be made and you can start making your selections. Depending on the needs of the customer, and how intricate the design is, there will be between 3-5 design meetings throughout the build. 3. Over the course of the project, there will be scheduled meetings onsite to go over specific items. This can include electrical layouts, closet layouts and anything else that may come up along the way. 4. Towards the end of the project, there will be a walk-through scheduled with you. At this time, you can ask questions, point out concerns you might have, and we will make sure all things are tidied up and taken care of before the final check is received and you get your keys. Why choose us
